Famili is run by Paul Gi, an independent developer in the United States. Using Famili means agreeing to this page. If you do not agree, do not use it.

You must be 18 or older to create a household and accept these terms.

A parent or guardian who creates a household may invite a child using a household invite. The parent or guardian manages the child’s use of Famili through the household’s Admin controls.

Every person in a household has an Admin or Member role. Grown-up and Youth are presentation settings, not permission roles. Youth and Grown-up Members have the same permissions.

Admins manage household members, chores, rewards and requests. Admin views also show member balances and Home Bucks history.

A Member’s personal savings goal is private to that Member, including from Admins. It does not reserve Home Bucks, request a reward or purchase anything. Family goals show aggregate household progress without individual amounts or rankings.

Only Admins set a Member’s presentation. A Member without a saved presentation uses the Grown-up presentation and appears on the Admin setup list.

Only join a household you were invited to. Invite codes are meant for the person they were shared with.

Do not upload anything illegal, do not upload photos of people who have not agreed to be photographed, and do not use Famili to harass anyone, including members of your own household.

Do not try to reach another household’s data, probe the service for weaknesses without asking first, scrape it automatically, or resell access to it.

Home Bucks, whatever your household renames them to, are a bookkeeping tool inside your own home. They have no cash value.

They cannot be exchanged with Famili for money, goods or anything else, and they cannot be moved between households. Admins can add, remove or adjust balances at any time.

Whether a reward is actually honored is between the people in the household. Famili records the agreement; it does not enforce it.

Famili is free to use, and no payment is required. Famili+ paid plans are not offered right now. If paid subscriptions become available, the price and billing period will be shown before checkout. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.

Cancel any time from the billing portal in settings. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for, and partial periods are not automatically refunded. If something went genuinely wrong, email support@ourfamili.app and we will make it right.

Prices can change. Any change will be announced before it applies to a renewal, and you can cancel before then.

If a subscription lapses, the household stays intact and returns to the free plan. Nothing is deleted for non-payment.

The chores, rewards, notes and photos your household creates belong to you. Famili stores and displays them so the app can work for your household, and for no other purpose.

Famili is a small project maintained by one person. It is served reliably where possible, but there is no uptime guarantee, and features may change or be withdrawn. Meaningful changes will be announced where practical.

Famili is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It is not a system of record for anything that matters financially or legally.

To the extent the law allows, total liability for any claim relating to Famili is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars if you paid nothing.

You can stop using Famili at any time, leave a household, or delete your account from inside the app.

Accounts that break these terms, particularly around other people’s data or children’s safety, may be suspended or removed.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, and disputes belong to the courts located there.

The date at the top shows when this page last changed. Continuing to use Famili after a change means accepting the new version.
